Utopia seems more retained when it deals with immanent ideals, and that was the reason it had been highly disparaged by illustrious ideologists, as Karl Marx. However, by hearing the ideological echos, masses are reuniting without beeing inspired by a certain sense of fraternity. The only common note is given, using the words of Hannah Arendt, by an ,,organized loneliness’’. In an era of masses, the most powerful instrument of ideology is the mass-media technics. As a visible result, democracy strangely becomes a videocracy. By reconstructing the fragments of a given reality, the mass-media’s, masses are no longer possess the certainty of the truth. The mass-individual becomes a prisoner of a process which may be described as a ,,brute manifestation of the immediate”. |
