| THE FACULTY OF LAW The Faculty of Law of “Mihail Kogalniceanu” University, created in 1990, has become a landmark in the local and national academic education, building its reputation and fame on hard work and dedication. The hardships associated to every beginning – the creation of an own teaching staff, the purchase of a building, the institutional accreditation – were step by step surmounted so that starting with 2005 we can speak about an accredited faculty, with a rich educational offer, committed on its way to excellence. Our faculty aims at educating its students in the spirit of appreciation for the great achievements of humanity and at creating a sense of human solidarity in the service of Justice. The Faculty develops specialists in the juridical field. The job offer for the graduates is various: judges, prosecutors, auxiliary legal staff (judicial assistants, legal executors, Land Register officials, recorders of deeds, court secretaries), lawyers or legal advisers in civil lawyers’ firms or in individual cabinets, public notaries or secretaries of public notaries, attorneys-at-law for various commercial societies, autonomous institutions, national or international companies, civil servants in the local or central administration, managers of their own companies, experts by the governmental or non-governmental institutions, police or secret service officers, researchers, university professors. The duration of the license cycle is 4 years The studies are finalized with the license diploma. The license exam has been organized by UMK starting with the accreditation in 2005. In all these years our graduates have received diplomas acknowledged nationally by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport and internationally, and the University has enjoyed a complete confidence with regard to the activity performed and to the observance of legal regulations in the field of education. |
Indiferent ca pasiti pentru prima oara in spatiul universitar sau ca sunteti deja patrunsi de spiritul Universitatii „Mihail Kogalniceanu” traiti emotiile unui nou inceput. Fiecare an de studiu reprezinta o provocare, o incercare de a folosi intreaga energie pentru formarea dumneavoastra ca oameni si, in acelasi timp, ca buni specialisti, pentru a va infrumuseta si inalta spiritual, pentru a va realiza idealul. Numai oamenii care si-au propus un ideal maret pot realiza lucruri grandioase.Considerasi, asadar, fiecare an petrecut la UMK un timp al desavarsirii, un timp special, unic. Fiti cu adevarat studenti la vremuri noi, asa cum i-ar fi placut reformatorului Kogalniceanu pe care l-am ales model si mentor.Considerati Universitatea nu doar o institutie de invatamant, ci o mare familie. Bucurati-va de prezenta unor profesori talentati si pasionati, de spatiile moderne, de biblioteca, de laboratoare, de colegi. Urmati exemplul absolventilor nostri care sunt specialisti apreciati si care va privesc cu incredere.
Pregatiti-va sa deveniti bunii juristi ai mileniului trei! Reasezarea vietii contemporanilor nostri pe fagasul normal, recastigarea increderii oamenilor in justitie va fi misiunea dumneavoastra sacra si perpetua, ratiunea de a fi printre semenii avizi de dreptate si adevar.
